Abstract |
The general objective of the project is the planning and implementation of a platform for distributed and hybrid simulation to support the planning, validation and maintenance of complex systems, with particular reference to the solutions to control vessel traffic (VTS). The platform will allow you to recreate, on a local computing resources, the operating environment in which the hardware and software subsystems target will actually be installed by reproducing the interaction with COTS subsystems by means of a simulator, and how they interact emulating the 'network infrastructure and resources available. Recreating the application conditions before the actual installation of the system, the platform aims to support the choices of design and re-engineering and to provide an environment for the verification and validation of new agile prototype solutions that will ensure a reduction in the cost of maintenance and development. |
